Frequently Asked Questions

Is this the same as Harvey or Casetext?

No. Harvey and Casetext are shared-cloud SaaS — their AI trains on your client data. OCI deploys a private agent on a dedicated server that only your firm uses. Nothing is shared, nothing is trained on your data. Under ABA Model Rule 1.6, this distinction is critical for client confidentiality.

What does "private server" mean exactly?

Your firm gets its own dedicated virtual private server (VPC) or bare-metal instance. No other firm’s data is on the same infrastructure. Unlike shared-cloud AI tools, no other organization can access your agent, your workflows, or your firm’s documents. You can also choose fully self-hosted deployment on your own infrastructure.

How does this affect ABA Model Rule 1.6 compliance?

ABA Formal Opinion 23-502 (adopted August 2024) requires law firms to take “reasonable measures” to prevent unauthorized disclosure of client confidential information when using generative AI. A private, air-gapped or firm-controlled deployment is the strongest compliance posture available — far above shared-cloud SaaS where your data may be used for model training.

Can we do a pilot before committing to a full plan?

Yes. We offer a 30-day pilot program where your firm deploys a private agent instance with one workflow (e.g., intake automation or client document review). You evaluate the output, the workflow, and the data-handling before expanding. Contact us to start a pilot.

What happens to our data if we cancel?

You own all your data, always. Upon cancellation, we provide a full export of your agent configurations, knowledge bases, and workflow histories in standard formats. No data is retained after your contract end date. We do not sell or repurpose client data under any circumstances.

Is there a minimum contract term?

Starter and Professional plans are month-to-month after an initial 3-month commitment. Business plans are annual with monthly billing available. Enterprise plans are custom-scoped. Cancel anytime after commitment with 30 days notice.

What's included in the onboarding?

Every plan includes Telegram-first onboarding, agent configuration, workflow setup, and a guided first-run. Professional and Business plans include a dedicated implementation engineer for the first 30 days. Enterprise plans include a full onboarding sprint with workflow design and knowledge base migration.
